I'd like to see more mission stuff myself. Not just the uber lvl 4 loot goodness. But get some more mission vareity and complexity from lvl 1's up. If people have to grind thier way through them to get to the rewarding stuff eg: level 3's and especially 4's at least make it fun.
I'd like to see some needed fixes, like ECCM vs ECM.
But some of the promised content in the next batch is quite interesting. Carriers and the revenge system stand out. Titans and motherships, meh. I know i'll never be behind the wheel of one, or a dread for that matter so I could care less about them beyond the though of some massive starwars-ish space battle to stop one.
What I'd really like over all is more combat oriented things for both pvp and pve. Not everyone likes running a pos, the idea of colonizing a planet, or mining. Sure the MK2 ship project is a move to improve ships, but shuffling bonuses and slots... meh. Perhaps they could give small ships like frigs and thier elite offshoots the ability to be piloted via joystick? That would make for some interesting fun, or a bridge view ala EnB?
Give us some new ships across the board, all classes from frigs to BS, and give us inventive new equipment to play with. Maybe a new class or two like combat haulers added to the elite list, with moderate cargo, and the ability to mount a few cruiser size guns and HAC resistences? Or a class small fast smuggling ships with lower cargo space but enhanced stealth and smuggling abilities, not specifically a cloak, but something that allows them to hide cargo? Or how bout a BS specific anti-frig gun with a severe rate of fire and tracking that uses small ammo with a 30km range, but BS cpu and grid requirements and high ammo load?
Basically I'm saying enchance eve by fixing problems and adding new and interesting things to do and toys to play with. I like toys! I mean uber ships are nice and all, but if it's going to be available for roughly <5% of the pop at best, why bother? Everyone pays to play, not just the 5%. It's cool to add it in, those 5% deserve to have thier toys too, it just shouldn't be the focus of everything.
